Culpeppers: Chicken Wings Sauce

Culpeppers' signature dish was its spicy chicken wings. Herb Glazier and Mary McCabe added them to their menu on day one in 1977 and they became synonymous with the Central West End restaurant. The sauce recipe was simply Frank's Hot Sauce and butter, although countless other concoctions were conjured up over the years by those wanting to duplicate it.
